DISCIPLESHIP MENU 2017


The Discipleship Menu for 2017 has started with monthly modules in four centres across the diocese.

Guest session leaders, including Bishop Donald.

Open to all, and free after an initial £10 registration fee.

Do bring along members of your church for one or more of these short, four session modules.

Tuesdays 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th March at
St Mary’s, Towcester Road, Far Cotton, Northampton NN4 8EZ
7:30 to 9:30pm

As disciples, how can we care for ourselves, our neighbour, and creation? How do we use our gifts and resources? How can we witness to Jesus in our everyday lives? How do we handle our relationships? A challenging exploration of what it means to live as a disciple in today's world.

How do we feel, think, pray and act as a result of engaging with the Bible and some of it's big themes? What does the Bible say about itself? What have Christian writers said about it? How can the Bible help us, as disciples, to respond to contemporary issues? How can we share the Bible with others? An opportunity to explore these questions together.

SEPTEMBER

SHARING MY STORY

Wednesdays 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th September at

Explore how story works, how Jesus used it in the Bible, prepare and practice sharing your experience of God, in a supportive and safe place.
