Training for youth work

The main source of training for volunteer and part time church youth workers in the diocese is Engage.

Engage

Engage is a youth ministry training programme for volunteer and paid workers, leading to a National Certificate in Christian youth work, accredited by the National Open College Network.

There are six training days, on Saturdays between October 2013 and April 2014, held at Bouverie Court in Northampton.

The course is open to all and can be attended by those not wishing to gain the qualification (at a reduced cost).
