VACANCIES IN PETERBOROUGH DIOCESE

 

Assistant Diocesan Secretary

The Bishop, Bishop’s Council and Diocesan Board of Finance wish to appoint a new Assistant Diocesan Secretary.

The Assistant Diocesan Secretary is a critical support role for the Diocesan Secretary. The postholder will engage with a wide range of areas covering the administrative and legislative processes that underpin the work of the diocese.

(S)he will be a practising Christian and enthusiastic about the aims and vision of the Church of England and the Diocese of Peterborough.

The Diocese has offices in Peterborough and Northampton. The Assistant Diocesan Secretary will be based in Northampton. The salary will be £30,000 per annum.

Communications & Marketing Assistant

The Bishop, Bishop’s Council and Diocesan Board of Finance wish to appoint a full-time Diocesan Communications and Marketing Assistant.

The Communications and Marketing Assistant is the key person that will join the team in Peterborough working on Diocesan and Cathedral communications, co-ordinating all forms of internal communications and marketing events.

Excellent copy writing skills and the ability to create relevant and engaging content for print and social media are essential.

(S)he will be a practising Christian and enthusiastic about the aims and vision of the Church of England and the Diocese of Peterborough.

The Diocese has offices in Peterborough and Northampton. The Communications and Marketing Assistant will be based in Peterborough. The salary will be £20,000 per annum.

May suit recent graduate with a flair for journalism.

Chaplaincy at Hinchingbrooke Hospital

Pay Band 6

The Chaplaincy Department at North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust is looking to appoint a part time Chaplain to work at Hinchingbrooke Hospital.

The chaplain must be an ordained priest or minister or suitably authorised Lay Leader in good standing with their own denominational leaders and in membership of Churches Together in England. Experience of pastoral work is essential and experience of health care chaplaincy is desirable.

The chaplain will have the chance to work in the newly formed and rapidly evolving North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust. This is a great opportunity to be involved in shaping Chaplaincy for the future. The chaplain will join a forward looking team who seek to offer pastoral, spiritual and religious care to patients, relatives and staff of all faiths and none.

Peterborough Circuit of the Northampton District
Pioneer Team Leader

Fixed three year contract on a part-time basis. This will ideally suit a person who is able to work flexibly in order to meet the needs of evening work and the occasional Saturday and / or Sunday. 
The salary being offered is £20k pro-rata’d, which will include pro-rata’d entitlement to 28 days holiday.
