Adult education and training in the diocese
The Diocese of Peterborough
has a firm commitment to adult education and training, not just
for clergy and licensed lay ministers but for all church members. Training sessions are often based at the diocese's Training and Resources Centre at Bouverie Court in Northampton. They are also hosted by benefices and deaneries to enable people to take part in their own locality.
For courses currently scheduled see the Diary.
Continuing Ministerial Development
This programme offers lectures and study sessions for clergy, readers,
lay pastoral ministers, licensed evangelists and other lay ministers. Some sessions are open to other church members and these are published in the Diary.
A monthly email bulletin, Links, keeps clergy and lay ministers up to date with courses, retreats and resources offered outside the diocese.
Curate Training
A programme of training is offered to the newly ordained in the diocese. For more information contact the Curates' Training Co-ordinator.
