Launde Abbey Quiet Day

A Tale of Irritability and Life – Numbers 21.4-9

Led by Revd Bruce Thompson 

We will explore how annoying life can be even though we have so much to be thankful for.  Being aware of this can sometimes lead to a sense of guilt; but it is only in getting it out into the open that we can continue the journey.

Stillness practices at Potterspury - 'YOGA practice'

Stillness practices to bring awareness of who we really are.

Iris Parish will talk a little about the practice of YOGA and demonstrate some asanas (postures) and relaxation practices. Suitable for all abilities.
Seated YOGA will also be demonstrated.
We hope some of you will join in. Bring your mat if you use one and come suitable dressed in loose clothing. There will be teaching on how YOGA can be used as an awareness practice.

Accessible Church 1 Day Conference

This one day conference will empower church leaders, volunteers and communities to make church more accessible and inclusive for individuals with additional needs. The day will include both teaching and practical application as well as ideas for how to make your local church accessible for all children, youth and adults.

Stillness practices at Potterspury - 'Tai chi practice'

Stillness practices to bring awareness of who we really are.

Nina Felix will talk a little about the practice of Tai chi and demonstrate some of the moves. We hope some of you will join in. Come suitable dressed in loose clothing. There will be teaching on how Tai chi can be used as an awareness practice.

Music in Ashley Church

Our first concert will feature the Stirling Trio with Elizabeth Bass on harp. Founders of the Stirling Trio, Thomas Verity (clarinet) and Sarah Atter (flute) are joined by Elizabeth Bass on harp for an evening of enthralling entertainment including pieces from the Victorian Kitchen Garden Suite by Reade and Donizetti’s Sonata for lute and harp.
