Shrinking the Footprint: 2010 Conference. June 30th 2010.
This as the second annual day conference that engages with the churches drive to reduce its carbon footprint. Speakers from around the country attended the event at Lambeth Palace, hosted by the Bishop of London. The event shared concepts, encouragements and examples of good practice.

Crossing the Threshold. June 10th 2010.
A day conference run by the Church Urban Fund and the Cathedrals and Church Buildings Division to help Diocese better understand and support churches who want to increase the community use of their building.

The day covered the whole process of increasing community usage, split into four steps – Envisioning, Planning, Building and Sustaining. There was an overview on each section given by a practitioner experienced in their field, as well as useful case studies.

Chaplaincy in the Community: Being alongside others. May 2010.
A day conference held at Rippon College, Cuddesdon, which explored the nature and purpose of chaplaincy in the church today.
Case studies were presented and working groups discussed chaplaincy and the parish context.

Shrinking The Footprint - the next step forward.
Lambeth Palace – 11th June 2009.

More than 100 delegates from nearly every diocese attended the day chaired by the Bishop of London Richard Chartres with input from a range of experts including Government minister Joan Ruddock MP (Department of Environment and Climate change), the Carbon Trust, AECOM consultants and diocesan officers.

East of England Faiths Council and Local Government Authorities Civic literacy training.
Issues of understanding and engaging with structures.

Although billed as a training course, the purpose was to give a forum where faith communities and local/regional government officers could discuss their organisational structures and the issues faced when government and faith groups sought to engage.

The Economic Crisis – Towards Sustainable Economies and Livelihoods.
A day conference organised by Churches Together in Britain and Ireland.
Tuesday 20th January 2009. Methodist Church House, London.

The conference discussed reasons behind the financial crisis of 2008/9 and a Christian response to that crisis.
Keynote speaker: Bob Goudzwaard. Professor Emeritus of Economics and Social Philosophy at the Free University, Amsterdam.
