Please pray for us as we celebrate our seventieth birthday this year with a series of services and events, including a street party, the publication of our history and an exhibition. Give thanks for the huge increase in our hall usage and our developing links with the community, especially the Eastfield Neighbourhood Learning Project and the Inn Place community centre. Pray for greater involvement in local schools and our fellow Christians in the local Baptist, United Reformed and Roman Catholic Churches.
Almighty God, we thank you for the blessing you have given to this church and parish over its seventy years, and also for the life and witness of its priests and people.  Encourage us, by your Spirit, to develop and grow in our worship and service over the next generations of faith. We ask these things in the name of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Amen.
