Our Healing Team is hoping to widen its capabilities now that one of its members has completed a listening course with the Acorn Trust. We hope to provide this service regularly this year. Our Reader-in-training is progressing through her second year and taking more opportunities to develop her skills in worship and study. We maintain close links with Eastfield Primary School, but sadly the local Community Café has had to close. We are planning to replace our very old seating within the body of the church building with new chairs designed for comfort and ease of moving around. We are still looking for a permanent organist, but we are grateful to those who volunteer their keyboard skills. Two younger members of the church have progressed in their faith journey to receive First Communion and four older members have been confirmed.
