Pray for the Sparx youth project based at Christ the Carpenter and the PE1 Zone shop on Central Avenue: for its outreach into the community and the financial support it needs. Pray for the many activities on the church site and those who staff them, including Little Steps Nursery, Parents United and Mums & Tots. Pray for the primary schools at Dogsthorpe, Welland and Marshfields, and for the Church Together assemblies team who visit them. Pray for Welland House and The Peverels residential homes, facing a time of transition. Give thanks for the staff there and the pastoral team visiting and taking Communion. Pray for the ecumenical chaplaincy team at the Thomas Deacon Academy as they build relationships with staff and students. Pray for the healthy and growing relationship between denominations in the area and the commitment made to unity in the Ecumenical Vision Statement agreed by the PCC and Dogsthorpe Methodist Church.
