xpect is a new opportunity to give a year to developing youth work and ministry in the Diocese of Peterborough. We believe young people bring hope to the church both now and for the future. We expect God to grow His church and to send out workers.

serve.

Interns will be placed with a church or group of churches in a rural or urban setting for one year to work with young people and the local community.

train.

Interns will meet regularly for training in youth ministry skills, leadership and theology. The programme will begin with an induction residential in September and a mid-year residential will be held in March.

grow.

Interns will grow in faith, discipleship and character; interns will have a personal mentor who will offer support & challenge through the year.

Xpect interns will be paid a weekly allowance and receive free board and lodging.
