Launde Abbey welcomes the Revd Anna Walker as Deputy Warden

Launde Abbey welcomed their new Deputy Warden, the Revd Anna Walker, in a service of welcome on Tuesday 3 February. The licensing service, held in the chapel at Launde, was led by the Bishop of Leicester alongside Bishop Debbie and was full of music, prayer and celebration, with staff, volunteers, trustees and friends of Launde Abbey present.

Archbishop of Canterbury is reintroduced to the House of Lords

The Archbishop of Canterbury, the Most Reverend and Right Honourable Dame Sarah Mullally, was formally reintroduced to the House of Lords on Thursday 5 February, supported by The Most Revd and Rt Hon Stephen Cottrell, the Archbishop of York, and Rt Revd Debbie Sellin, the Bishop of Peterborough.

Bishop Sarah Mullally DBE has today (Wednesday 28 January) become the 106th Archbishop of Canterbury, at her Confirmation of Election at St Paul’s Cathedral. Bishop Debbie served as one of the Royal Commissioners at the service.
