Stewardship
An introduction to the team
Paul Adams, Stewardship Officer
My role is to help, encourage and challenge each one of us to think about how we give and why we give. Our giving is a discipleship issue. I am very happy to come and talk with clergy, treasurers, PCCs and congregations about giving issues.

Financial sustainability during COVID-19
We have issued some detailed advice on how churches can continue to secure regular financial giving during the coronavirus outbreak. We hope you will find it helpful.
Parish Giving Scheme
The Diocese of Peterborough is replacing its existing planned-giving scheme and replacing it with the Parish Giving Scheme (PGS). You can find out more details about this scheme here.
Reimagining the Offertory
For many years churches have passed round a bag or plate during a service to collect offerings of money. It is probably fair to say that the reasons for doing this are little understood by the average congregation.

Heritage Lottery Fund
Parishes seeking sources of funding for Church Projects should consider the Heritage Lottery Fund.
Recently, Stuart Hobley the Development Manager for the HLF in the East of England briefed parishes in our diocese. The slides from his workshop are available for download (.pdf 6.5Mb).
