Hello. I'm Chad, the Gen2 Youth Mission Enabler for Peterborough Diocese. I live in Chelveston and worship with The Well (part of Whitefriars Church) in Higham Deanery. I passionately believe that when Churches pray and work together, our ministry with children and young people is much more effective, creative and sustainable. I love rugby, growing veg and archaeology... or anything else where I can get muddy. I also love cooking and wine. Jesus has transformed my life, so I'm here to serve and always excited to meet new people and parishes!

Hi, I'm Alex, the Generation to Generation Project Manager. I live in Burton on Trent, Staffordshire - a place famous for turning water into beer. I have a varied role as part of the team, but I enjoy solving problems and helping people to achieve their goals. I love to learn - whether reading, listening or just getting stuck in. I am still learning what it means to be a Christian, but fortunately I get to meet with people everyday where we can explore this question together, seeking God through the everyday situations that life brings.

Peterborough Deanery Youth Mission Enabler

Sam Higgins

Hello there, I’m Sam, the Youth Mission Enabler for Peterborough Deanery based at Peterborough Cathedral. I’m passionate about seeing young people grow in confidence in themselves, who God is, and who He calls them to be. I love getting creative with media – videography, photography, social media and exploring the great outdoors! God calls each one of us by name, and calls us to reach out to those around us sharing the Gospel – the Good News! “For you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s own special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.” 1 Peter 2:9

Wellingborough Deanery Youth Mission Enabler

Sarah Howes

Hi, I’m Sarah, a Gen2 Youth Mission Enabler for Wellingborough Deanery, and Youth Worker for WEBS (Wollaston, Easton Maudit, Bozeat, Strixton) Benefice where I worship. I live in Earls Barton with my husband and three children. I’m passionate about working with young people and introducing them to Jesus through groups/activities, schools work, faith in families and detached work. I’m interested in meeting new people/parishes in the Wellingborough Deanery and working with them to start/support youth ministry in their contexts. I also have a heart for improving inclusivity for young people with additional needs. I enjoy reading, going on walks with my family, writing poetry and watching a good Netflix series! I believe Jesus is our ‘lighthouse to the nations’ and calls all of us, through him, to ‘make a start at bringing people into the open, into light.’ (Isaiah 42:6 MSG)

Corby Deanery Youth Mission Enabler

Emma Kirby

Hi, I’m Emma, the Children and Families Minister for Weldon and Priors Hall Parish and I live in Weldon. I have the best job as it is varied and I get to spend time with so many lovely people! I work closely with our local primary schools, run baby and toddler groups, disciple our junior youth group and support their parents. I am passionate about building relationships and working with our local community as I believe the church then develops trust and credibility, and people will start to see God through this social action.

I am passionate about seeing the lives of young people transformed by the love of Jesus through a deep and personal relationship with him. I love baking, playing board games and going to the pub with my pals. Rutland Deanery Youth Mission Enabler

Nat Stiles

Hi, I’m Nat, I am a trainee Gen2 Children’s, Families and Youth Enabler in the Rutland Deanery. I live in Ashely and worship in Rutland. I’m passionate about intergenerational church. I love being outside on our family farm, anything to do with nature! I enjoy working on my wildlife garden and vegetable patch. I am currently learning how to wood carve. I long to see people open their hearts and minds to Christ. Our ideas of God and faith to be challenged and our eyes opened, to see our living, loving God. I long to see a much more visible church. Full of diversity, love and action.

Kettering Deanery Youth Mission Enabler

Chris Watts

Hi, I’m Chris, the Gen2 Youth Mission Enabler for Kettering Deanery. I live in Burton Latimer with my wife, Rachael, and our son, Noah, and worship at the church of Christ the King Kettering. I enjoy watching movies and am an avid comic collector, as well as recently finding an interest in tabletop model painting. I love working with young people as I believe we can learn from them just as much as we teach them about how we engage in our relationship to God – sometimes we just need to support them so they can believe it themselves.
