House for Duty Priest (Rector designate) of Culworth, Chipping Warden, Edgcote and Moreton Pinkney, Northamptonshire

These beautiful Northamptonshire villages have a mixture of people working locally, commuters to towns in the area, a few weekenders, and many working from home. Helped by their two schools, they are lively communities and the total population is around 1500. The villagers are warm and hospitable, and they view the Rector and the church as essential parts of the fabric of life.

The principal opportunities for our new priest are:

  • to be a visible presence in the communities

  • to walk alongside those who are already part of the church family, and to encourage their involvement in worship and pastoral care

  • to reach out to teenagers and young families

  • to enable the churches to grow through lifelong membership

  • to reconcile the needs of the Benefice and its individual parishes, as together we seek to grow

  • to maintain an active participation in Culworth School and to support Chipping Warden School

Could this be you? If you are interested, we would love to hear from you.
