Vicar (half-time) of Warmington, Cotterstock, Fotheringhay, Southwick and Tansor

We seek to appoint a new incumbent to build and equip the people of God in the task of loving and serving their communities in this well-established benefice of five small, picturesque and historic rural parishes in East Northamptonshire, close to the market town of Oundle and within easy reach of Peterborough, the A1 and East Coast Mainline.  A spacious modern vicarage is provided and there are good local schools and a mutually supportive deanery.  We are looking for:

  • A priest of deep faith, able to inspire, encourage and participate in the mission of the whole church, strengthening existing disciples and making new ones

  • A dynamic church leader and team player, able to draw together five rural church communities and to be both inclusive and sensitive to difference

  • A well organised people person, keen to provide pastoral care to existing congregations and to build new relationships with young families, our local school and the wider community
