Interim Rector of Crick & Yelvertoft w Clay Coton & Lilbourne

The Martyrs Memorial & Church of England Trust and St John’s College Oxford

This rural benefice (population c. 3,500) is in Northamptonshire but close to the borders with Leicestershire and Warwickshire. The villages are set in the valley at the edge of the beautiful rolling Northamptonshire uplands and the Rectory is situated in Crick. Communication links are good: the MI, M6, A5 and A14 give road access to all corners of the country. There is easy rail travel to London and Birmingham.

We wish to appoint an Interim Rector who:

  • demonstrates a visible and positive presence in the communities

  • shares the Good News of Jesus Christ with all people

  • enables spiritual growth, outreach and mission

  • nurtures younger church members

  • supports different styles of worship

  • develops a Mission Shaped focus for the 21st Century

This interim post is for an initial period of three years, with the possibility of extending further. The new Interim Rector and church leaders will work closely with the Diocesan Director of Mission in establishing a missional focus for the coming years. Could this be you?
