Senior Youth and Children’s Pastor for St Giles, Northampton

St Giles is a church in the centre of Northampton. We are passionate about transformation and seeing lives being changed by the power of Jesus- especially young lives!

We are looking to recruit someone to the post of Senior Youth and Children’s Pastor who will oversee all our ministries to the next generation and their families. The person appointed would be part of our Ministry Leadership Team, responsible for making strategic decisions concerning the life and future of the wider church family.

The person could be ordained or lay but would come with experience of a thriving youth and/or children’s ministry. We are looking for someone with vision, energy, great organisation and communication skills; an inspirational and passionate leader who will grow other leaders.

School Business Manager

Monksmoor Park CE Primary School

We are looking for an exceptional School Business Manager to join us in a once in a lifetime opportunity to open a brand new multi-million pound Church of England School.

Monksmoor Park CE Primary School will open in September with one Reception class, eventually growing to be a one form entry school.  The new, state of the art building is complete and sits within the garden village of Monksmoor Park in Daventry.

Your role will be to set up all the necessary admin and accounting policies and procedures, ready to receive our first cohort of children in September.  You will work closely with the Headteacher and Governing Body to produce strategic financial plans and will play an essential role in ensuring all resources are in place ready for September.

Make no mistake, there is lots to do before we open but this is a very exciting time and it is very unlikely you will get this opportunity again.

Your role will be to set up the very first learning environment in the school, ready to receive our first cohort of children in September.  You will work closely with the Headteacher to establish an outstanding setting where children will flourish.  A deeply Christian ethos will underpin our work and we will be supported by a hardworking Governing Body and the Peterborough Diocese.

There will be opportunity for significant professional development, particularly within SEND.  If you would like to develop a specialism in this area, we would support your training over a three year period.

Your role will be maintain the brand school to ensure the children and staff have a clean and safe learning environment.  You will work closely with the Headteacher to establish an outstanding setting where children will flourish.  A deeply Christian ethos will underpin our work and we will be supported by a hardworking Governing Body and the Peterborough Diocese.

Church Administrator (Full Time)

St George’s Church, Stamford

St George’s Stamford has a vacancy for an experienced administrator who can support the Rector and staff team alongside general office and church administration.

This post requires the ability to relate warmly to all who make enquiries at the Hub, whether by email, phone or drop-in.

The Hub is a busy church office and the role requires the ability to multi-task, as well as taking distractions in your stride!

Admin support for marriages, funerals and baptisms, Sunday services, church events and courses, publications, the website and the booking of facilities are all included.

Terms of Employment

Hours: 9.00am to 5.00pm – five days a week (37.5 hours)

Holidays: 25 days, plus public holidays

Pension: The post holder will be eligible to join the staff scheme after probation. 

Contract: This will be a standard administrative staff contract.

Salary: £15310, plus a pension (10% – all contributed by the employer after a successful probation).

Youth Minister for Whitefriars Church, Rushden 

An opportunity has arisen for a skilled and passionate Christian, with a strong personal faith to join the staff team of Whitefriars Church, Rushden, Northamptonshire. We are a growing church with a diverse membership and have a variety of groups; therefore there will be the opportunity to work as part of a team.

Contract details:
Salary: gross annual salary of £8,424 (FTE £17,550).
The role is initially scoped for 18 hours a week. Some flexibility in the hours may be required for the post holder to attend evening or weekend activities.
Annual paid holiday entitlement is equivalent to 5 weeks p.a.

Key responsibilities will be:

  • To have overall responsibility, under the authority of the vicar, for all areas of youth ministry, and to uphold all relevant safeguarding requirements
  • To maintain and develop the church’s youth ministry in local schools
  • To organise and lead various activities to reach out to the wider community
  • To lead the youth ministry within the church, coordinating and managing the volunteers involved, with the aim of helping young people to flourish in faith


Whitefriars Church is a Christian organisation and there is a Genuine Occupational
Requirement (GOR) for the role holder to be a committed Christian in accordance with the
Employment Equality (Religion & Belief) Regulations 2003.
