Rector (Half-time) of Aldwincle, Clopton, Pilton, Stoke Doyle, Thorpe Achurch, Titchmarsh and Wadenhoe (The “Seven Churches” Benefice)

An open minded and caring priest is sought to provide leadership and vision for the next stage in the life of this well-established benefice of small villages, situated between the market towns of Oundle and Thrapston in North Northants. There are two church primary schools and you will find the church communities well integrated into the life of their villages and happy to take responsibility for church fabric. We are looking for:

  • A kind and compassionate pastor, with good people skills, able to relate well to rural communities in all their diversity and with a particular capacity to enthuse the young

  • A priest with a missional heart, able to reach out to those who do not attend worship regularly and help us grow the church

  • A sensitive leader, willing to work with difference between parishes and between the traditional and the more contemporary, and able to develop and bring out the best in others

  •  A leader who will work collaboratively with a ministerial team

  • Someone with a good sense of humour.
