Data Protection

The Diocese of Peterborough and the Bishop of Peterborough and his office abide by current Data Protection regulations.  In legal terms, the Bishop of Peterborough and the Diocese of Peterborough are separate entitles.  Therefore, to comply with current data protection regulations we have separate privacy notices. Below are the privacy notices for the Bishops’ Office.  The privacy notice for the Diocese of Peterborough is available at the bottom of this webpage.

 

The Bishops’ Office has a number of privacy notices. 

General privacy notice for the Office

 

There are specific privacy notices for different categories of clergy and licensed lay ministers which explain explicitly how the bishop holds and processes their data.

Licensed parish clergy and clergy licensed under seal

Clergy who hold permission to officiate in the diocese

Licensed Lay Ministers

Clergy who are either retired or who were last licensed in the Diocese of Peterborough and are not currently licensed in another diocese in the Church of England
