What is Understanding Christianity all about?

 

  What is “Understanding Christianity” all about?


This course is open to members of the Clergy who work with schools and to School Governors. It will introduce you to the exciting new national resource,
“Understanding Christianity: Text Impact Connections”.


The focus of this session will be on developing participants’ awareness about this exciting resource which is growing in popularity in schools across the
county, the Diocese and the country. (In this Diocese over 90% of our Church Schools have already attended the full training).


As a governor, come and find out how this resource can help to increase knowledge about Christianity in the school, boost teacher confidence in Religious
Education and raise pupil standards in RE.


As a member of the Clergy working with schools, comeand find out how you can use your role and expertise to help your local schools through Collective Worship and curriculum support.

Entry details:

Free to clergy, diocesan Gold SLA and PDET schools, £25 silver level SLA, £50 per delegate for all other schools.
