Women’s Day Conference on Growing in Grace

Rachel Menon the main speaker at this year's Women's Day Conference will be giving two talks on 2 Peter. The day will include a variety of seminars and an opportunity to learn in smaller groups.

A day of studying the Bible with Bishop Donald at two venues.
Open to anyone who is interested in learning more about the Bible.

Parish Safeguarding Networking Day

Aimed at Parish Safeguarding Officers but all welcome

A chance to network with safeguarding officers and other church officers, ask questions of the outside speakers, as well as seeing the DSA team and asking them questions too. 

The outside speakers are:

Peter Spindler, a retired Metropolitan Police Commander and Senior Investigating Officer for Operation Yewtree (Savile and others): An examination of the learning for organisations in responding to safeguarding critical incidents and what more can be done to make institutions safer places for the vulnerable.

Patricia Kirk, a retired Detective Chief Inspector for Northamptonshire police who leads on Adult and Children Serious Case Reviews (also a Parish Safeguarding Officer in our Diocese): Serious Case Reviews (SCRs) apply to cases involving death or serious harm to a child and where a vulnerable adult has died involving partner agencies

Refreshments and nibbles will be provided

Music in Lyddington presents Ben Goldscheider french horn & Richard Uttley piano

Ben was a Concerto Finalist in the BBC Young Musician Competition. Since then, he has performed at the BBC Proms and with the English Chamber and Hallé Orchestras. In 2018, his debut album was released, and he was selected as a BBC Music Magazine Rising Star and Gramophone Magazine One to Watch.

Richard has been recognised for his ‘musical intelligence and pristine facility’ (International Record Review), ‘amazing decisiveness’, and ‘tumultuous performance’ (Daily Telegraph). He won the British Contemporary Piano Competition in 2006. Both artists have been selected for representation by YCAT.
