Quiet Day, Launde Abbey

A day at the diocesan retreat house to reflect on the past eighteen months. There will be input from Revd Chris Webb in the morning, with free time in the afternoon. The day will end with a Eucharist at 3.30pm. Limited to 17 people.

Mental Health First Aid

Over the past months Peterborough Diocese has been raising awareness of mental health and wellbeing. This training will help anyone engaged with parish life to better serve the needs of those you meet who are experiencing poor mental health.

This will be delivered by Kevin Fear who until recently was a Minister in Secular Employment working as a health and safety policy lead in the construction industry. He is licenced as an Assistant Priest in the parish of Werrington and has recently qualified to deliver Mental Health First Aid England’s 2-day on-line Mental Health First Aid course.

Music in Lyddington presents Adam Walker (flute) & Sean Shibe (guitar)

Adam Walker was appointed principal flute of the London Symphony Orchestra at the age of 21, and is at the forefront of a new generation of wind soloists. He was appointed professor at the
Royal College of Music in 2017 and is Artistic Director of the Orsino Ensemble.

One of the foremost guitarists of his generation, Sean Shibe was the first guitarist to be selected for the BBC Radio 3 New Generation Artists scheme, to be awarded a Borletti-Buitoni
Trust Fellowship, and to receive the Royal Philharmonic Society Award for Young Artists.

Celebration Organ Concert by World-Renowned Organist Daniel Moult

The concert is to commemorate the restoration of the choir organ in memory of Iris Godfrey. Dan will play a Town Hall style programme with music by Bach, Handel, Mozart, Thalben-Ball and others.

There will be a number of large screens throughout the church to ensure you are able to get a view of Daniel playing. All proceeds are in support of All Saints Church Holbeach.

The concert will be subject to Covid restrictions that are in force at the date of performance. Ticket numbers are limited to allow for suitable social distancing and face coverings/masks will be required.
