Rural Forum

Date and Time :
3rd September 2025 - 10:00am - 3:30pm

An opportunity to gather all those involved in rural ministry to hear national speakers with experience of rural ministry, to listen to each others experiences, and start to consider what our rural strategy might look like.

The morning will commence at 10am with time for worship, followed by hearing from those who have experience of rural ministry in a national context.

We will be joined by The Revd Dr Mark Betson, a former National Rural Officer for the Church of England, and a representative from the Diocese of Southwell and Nottingham who will share with us their strategy for developing rural ministry.

Lunch will be provided, after which there will be opportunity to share our own experiences and ideas.

The afternoon will conclude at 3.30pm.

This event is open to all clergy who consider themselves to be ministering in a rural setting and members of their benefice ministry teams.
