Leadership 3: Change
TIs are also welcome to attend
A training session on change in the parish context, and developing skills to help facilitate change with Revd Charlie Nobbs and Revd Adrian Holdstock.
How do we understand change in a parish context, and discern God’s leading towards change? This day will explore different dimensions of change, from the practical to the theological, with the aim of building skills, understanding and confidence for those about to enter/recently entered positions of responsibility.
This event will be run by Adrian Holdstock and Charlie Nobbs who is the Director of Mission for the Diocese, and until recently was the Pioneer and New Initiatives Training Officer, with a brief to help with new parish initiatives and develop training for clergy and lay people to develop their new initiatives.
Adrian served as SSM in a large rural benefice of 13 churches in Leicestershire before coming to Peterborough in 2012. He developed his business “Galilee Coaching and Mentoring Ltd” from 2006 to enable people to make a success of their personal and professional lives. Having gained Diplomas in Life Coaching and Strategic Business Coaching he drew on his previous leadership and management experience in the Royal Air Force and Severn Trent Water to enable small businesses to grow and flourish. He is accredited to use the Belbin Team-Role analysis and has been a Chartered Mechanical Engineer, a Chartered Manager, FCMI and registered Business Consultant, and a Director Consultant with Business Networking International.
