The Diocesan Advisory Committee (the DAC) is a statutory diocesan committee appointed by the Bishop. It offers advice to Parochial Church Councils (PCCs) and the Chancellor of the Diocese and Archdeacons, in relation to proposed works and matters affecting church buildings, their contents and churchyards, having due regard to the role of a church as a local centre of worship and mission. It also advises on the care and development of church buildings more generally. All DAC can only be attended by those on the DAC Board.

Every diocese of the Church of England is required, by the Diocesan Boards of Finance Measure 1925, to have a Diocesan Board of Finance. This is a charitable company which holds the financial and other assets of the diocese and is responsible for over sight of their good stewardship.

Living Faith is the name of a set of study modules that are open to any Christian wanting to know more about their faith. The Bishop of Peterborough is assisted by her senior staff, called the Bishop’s Management Group (BMG), which includes the suffragan bishop, the dean, the diocesan secretary, the two archdeacons, her chaplain, and the adviser for women’s ministry. The group meets monthly and is joined regularly by the Diocesan Safeguarding Adviser, Registrar, Diocesan Director of Ordinands and Clergy Training Officer.

Lesley Pollard will lead this statutory two year Single Agency Refresher Training for previously trained DSLs working in Northamptonshire schools. This will be on Zoom.

Andrew Lakatos will lead this session on what are the key features of headteacher performance management for governors involved in this important role. It will be held via zoom.

The primary objective of the Houses Committee is to discuss repairs, maintenance and ensure the Quinquennial Inspection Reports are fulfilled so all of the houses that are provided for the clergy in the diocese are of good standard on behalf of the Diocesan Board of Finance within a yearly-allocated budget.

The Board's Executive Committee normally meets between three and six times per year to make decisions on behalf of the Diocesan Board of Education. The committee is made up of: • The Chair of the Diocesan Board of Education • The Chairs of Strategy and Leadership committee, Standards and Effectiveness Committee, and Resource Management Committee • Two other DBE members
