Flourishing Church-Church Planting Theology Conference
Taking place at Cranmer Hall, Durham, over three days, the annual church planting theology conference is an opportunity to hear from leading academics and practitioners, as we explore the theology of church planting. This year’s conference focuses on the theme of flourishing. While we are each committed to seeing God’s church grow, there can sometimes be a lack of clarity in what healthy growth actually means.

Join the Diocesan Prayer Course Online during Lent 2025, and follow Jesus deeper into prayer. Recommended equally for beginners and "experts". Each session will include video footage from Pete Greig and Poppy Williams, time for questions, prayer and breakout groups for discussion.

Pilgrim is a major teaching and discipleship resource from the Church of England. It aims to help every local church create a place where people can explore the Christian faith together and see how it can be lived out each day. We will be looking at Book 2 The Lord's Prayer.

A performance of Salieri’s Requiem will be given by The Cantus Choir, accompanied on the organ by Thomas Keogh in St. Mary’s Church, Ketton. The performance will be preceded by a short talk given by the choir’s director Alwyn Pollard.

Collective Worship in the Church Primary School
This day will provide opportunity for teachers with responsibility for leading on collective worship to come together to share good practice, explore new resources and consider how we can work towards collective worship contributing to the spiritual flourishing of pupils and adults in our schools. The day will be led by Jane Lewis. Venue is Hayfield Cross CofE Primary School, Hayfield Crescent, Hanwood Park, Kettering, NN15 5F

Diocesan Advisory Committee
The Diocesan Advisory Committee (the DAC) is a statutory diocesan committee appointed by the Bishop. It offers advice to Parochial Church Councils (PCCs) and the Chancellor of the Diocese and Archdeacons, in relation to proposed works and matters affecting church buildings, their contents and churchyards, having due regard to the role of a church as a local centre of worship and mission. It also advises on the care and development of church buildings more generally. All DAC can only be attended by those on the DAC Board.
