The Leading your Church into Growth (LyCiG) Spring National Conference is an open seminar with interactive talks, practical exercises, workshops and time and space for personal reflection. Times of informal conversation provide opportunities for our team members to answer questions and to explore the profile of individual churches. Referencing over 25 years experience, this highly-regarded course is designed for clergy and lay leaders from across different denominations who are looking for help in leading their churches into growth.

This online event will take place on Teams over two sessions, starting on Wednesday, 15 October, 2025 followed by a second session on Wednesday, 22 October, 2025, both starting at 6pm.

The Diocesan Synod takes place twice a year and has a has a varied and wide ranging role in the governance of the Diocese. Diocesan Synod can only be attended by those who are a member of the Synod.

This retreat takes place at Launde Abbey from Monday 20 October to Thursday 23 October. For many people, including Christians, the Bible is a bit of a closed book; this retreat opens it up. We step into the world of the Bible where we discover an evolving story in which people struggle with the same questions as we do, and where old ideas are discarded and are replaced by new.

Association of Promoting Retreats (APR) Autumn Retreat with Bishop John Stroyan St Columba's House, Woking

The Diocesan Advisory Committee (the DAC) is a statutory diocesan committee appointed by the Bishop. It offers advice to Parochial Church Councils (PCCs) and the Chancellor of the Diocese and Archdeacons, in relation to proposed works and matters affecting church buildings, their contents and churchyards, having due regard to the role of a church as a local centre of worship and mission. It also advises on the care and development of church buildings more generally. All DAC can only be attended by those on the DAC Board.

Open the Book is an exciting storytelling project where Bible stories are shared with children in a way that is fun, interactive and memorable. As invited guests in school, storytelling teams use the Open the Book programme to prepare and present a 10 to 15-minute scripted Bible story to a school assembly, involving the children as much as possible. By the end of this workshop, you should feel equipped with all the knowledge you need to get started in an Open the Book team.

On Saturday, 25 October, come and explore a day of personal reflective practice through nature, art, prayer and bible journaling.

The Peterborough Diocese branch of the Prayer Book Society will be hosting a regional heat of the Cranmer Awards on the 25 October 2025.

This in-person event will take place over two sessions, starting on Thursday, 30 October, 2025 followed by a second session on Thursday, 6 November, 2025, both starting at 10am. This course will take place at Bouverie Court, 6 The Lakes, Northampton, NN4 7YD.
