Whilst Diocesan Synod is the over arching govering body for this diocese, the financial affairs are conducted through the Peterborough Dicoesan Board of Finance, a charity registered with the Charity Commission ( 250569) and a company limited by guarantee (registration number 186179). It serves as the financial executive body of the Church of England in the Diocese of Peterborough and performs, works and transacts business in connection with the Church of England and the diocese. It is responsible for the financing of any recommendations proposed to and agreed by Diocesan Synod.
