Katharine of Aragon, the first wife of King Henry VIII, died in Kimbolton Castle and is buried in Peterborough Cathedral. Revd Canon Tim Alban Jones is the Vice Dean of the Cathedral and will enlighten you on the life of this remarkable woman and the music she enjoyed in the Tudor Court, illustrated with live musical examples.
The talk will last one hour.
Tickets are £10 to include a glass of wine and canapés afterwards in the churchyard. All funds raised are for St Andrew’s, Cotterstock.
