Licensed Lay Ministers


The Diocese of Peterborough has three distinct forms of Licensed Lay Ministry (LLM).

An LLM undergoes two years of training to become an Evangelist or Pastoral Minister, and an extra year to follow the ministry of Reader.

As an LLM you will not only have the support of your parish/benefice and incumbent, but if you live in the Oakham Archdeaconry it is very likely you will meet Revd Canon John Hall, and if you live in the Northampton Archdeaconry you will meet Revd Ben Lewis, who are Wardens of Lay Ministry.
