We are looking for a highly skilled, capable and experienced Executive Assistant. This is a complex and fascinating role, which combines elements of traditional PA, operations manager & executive administrator roles, working for the Director of Education primarily, but also for the whole Directorate and the Diocesan Board of Education. It involves supporting the Director, the Directorate and the Board, with its Officers and Consultants, in delivering the vision and strategy of the Diocesan Board of Education. It affords the opportunity to work from home most of the time, if that is the Executive Assistant’s preference, but does require the postholder to be based at our offices in Northampton on days when courses and meetings of the Board and its committees are taking place.
If you are seeking a new challenge, communicating with and helping to coordinate the work and contribution of a diverse range of stakeholders, supporting the Diocesan Board of Education, and so helping to develop our 103 Church of England schools and academies across Northamptonshire, Peterborough and Rutland, then we would love to hear from you.
The Diocese of Peterborough is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. Staff are subject to an enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 (negotiable)
Pension: 10% non-contributory pension payment per annum
Contract Type: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Contract term: Permanent
