Vicar of St Mark’s, Wellingborough

St Mark’s is a loving, welcoming, open and growing church situated in an area of social deprivation. Our aim is to offer God’s love to the community we serve. We are an active member of Inclusive Church and have been successful in growing our congregation substantially. We have a Catholic style of worship which is relaxed and vibrant.

Our ever-growing Youth Club is the largest Church of England Youth Group this side of Central London and has recently been recognised by a national presentation at Lambeth Palace. The club has also been awarded Youth Club of the Year by the Northamptonshire Association of Youth Clubs. We are also pleased to have very strong relationships with local schools.

We would love to find a new vicar who has:

  • Empathy with all backgrounds and ages – including children and young people.
  • Prayerful and spiritual leadership to enable continued growth in faith and numbers.
  • A desire to demonstrate the love of Jesus to those on the margins.
  • A good sense of humour.

We hope that this excites you. If you feel that God may be calling you to live and work with us, please read our Parish Profile.
